We went on our family vacation to Disney almost a month ago (has it already been that long??!) and before we left I was freaking out trying to decide what to wear to Disneyland! I hadn’t been in seven years and so I wanted to make sure I had cute Disney outfits that were comfortable and functional. I ended up loving what I packed so I wanted to share these Disney outfit ideas to give you some inspiration for your upcoming trip!
Disney Outfits Ideas for Moms
Having comfortable shoes is a MUST when you go to Disneyland. We walked all day long so you’re going to want to trade in the cute sandals for something a little more functional. Thankfully I already had a cute pair of sneakers in my closet I could wear, but I wanted another pair that would match with my glitter Disney character shirt! I found the perfect pair of glitter sneakers on Amazon! Lots of people stopped me in the park to ask me about my shoes so I knew I had picked a winner!
You’re also going to want to wear pants that are comfortable. I wore jeans the first day to look a little more put-together, but I would leave any skinny jeans or super tight pants at home. Be sure to pack loose fitting jeans, leggings, jersey skirts, or even a breathable jersey dress!
As far as tops go, having at least one Disney character shirt will make the trip a lot more fun! I loved the matching shirts we got and my kids loved them too! Try to wear cotton tops that are light in color if you’re going in the summer. It gets hot during the day so you’ll regret it if you’re wearing all black! And take shirts that you can easily clean. If you have kids, you know how messy they can be, so don’t take your favorite t-shirts!
I also brought a jacket for the evenings when it cooled off. I stashed it in our stroller and only took it out when it got chilly at night.
My favorite accessory to wear was the Mommy and Me matching glitter Minnie Mouse ears! They were so unique and sparkly! No one else in the park had ears that looked like ours so that was fun! I also loved wearing the Cinderella bow my friend made! It was originally for Ella, but she pulled it out after a few hours. After walking around in the heat all day, it was nice to pull my hair up and add a fun Disney hair accessory!
Disney Clothes For Toddlers and Kids
For my kids’ Disney outfits, I wanted clothes that would be easy for them to move in and would be easy to clean when we got home. Most of their t-shirts got filthy in the park, so I didn’t want them wearing anything super nice. Luckily Hudson had Disney character shirts to wear every day so that made it fun for him! Ella wore shorts and t-shirts while we were there. I made sure Hudson had comfortable walking shoes, but Ella I wasn’t too worried about because she rode in the stroller or we carried her most of the time.
I hope you got some great inspiration for your upcoming trip on what to wear to Disneyland! You can definitely plan cute Disneyland outfits, just make sure they’re comfortable!
