DIY PICTURE FRAME ACCENT WALL

Materials

– Wall Moulding  – Miter Saw – Measuring Tape – Pencil – Level – DIY Spacer – Nail Gun – Finishing Nails – Hammer

– Nail Setter – Wood Glue – Wood Filler – Caulk  – Sanding Block – Paint Brush or Roller – Primer – Paint

1. Measure and cut the moulding

Mark each piece of moulding to the correct length and cut on a 45 degree angle.

2. Nail moulding to wall

Using your spacer, level, and nail gun, start at one end of the wall and nail the pieces to  the wall starting with just the corners.

3. Use nail setter and fill holes

Tap any protruding nails into the wood with a nail setter and fill the holes with wood filler.

4. Caulk around trim

Add a small bead of caulk around each outer edge of the wall frames and wipe it flat using your finger and a wet rag or a baby wipe.

5. Prime and paint

Add two coats of primer and up to three coats of paint, allowing each coat to dry in between.
