Spring Fling

I am so ready for spring over here! And my thought is that if I dress like spring, surely the weather will start noticing and warm up lol! It actually has been rather warm in Utah lately so I’m not complaining.

Top (exact, similar) | Jeans (Old Navy) | Necklace (similar, similar) | Flats (similar)

And there’s a story behind this top. I ordered some socks for Jordan and Hudson for Christmas and had to call about 12 days after the order said it shipped to see where it was. Turns out they never sent it so they were supposed to refund my money and charge me for the new order they sent. I only ever got $3 back on my card, but then I got an email a few days later for $30 in Kohl’s cash.

It was expiring at the end of January so I had to buy something quick! I wasn’t going to let 30 free dollars float away. So I started browsing through some of the shirts and saw this one! From everyone’s New York Fashion Week Instastories that I’ve seen, ruffles are going to be big in spring so this top is a perfect, affordable option! I feel like these flats are also perfect for a casual spring outfit.

The top isn’t too see-through (although I always wear a layering tee underneath with white) and it’s stretchy too so it’s not constricting. I’m thinking of wearing it for our family pictures this year!

Have you started your spring shopping yet??
