I clutched the ultrasound picture showing our third baby, healthy and growing right on track, but also knowing that we wouldn’t know whether the baby was a boy or girl until their birthday roughly seven months later.
You see, my husband and I had decided long before this baby was even conceived that we wouldn’t be finding out the gender since we had one of each already.
That made our baby name brainstorming even more important.

What’s In A Name?
Gender-neutral names are a really popular trend right now, and it’s a trend that I think is here to stay.
Not just because parents are waiting to find out the gender of their baby at birth, but because having a gender-neutral name can provide more authority and clout in the workplace.
Whatever your reason for wanting a neutral baby name, I already had a list of more than 500 modern baby names that first time moms love, so I wanted to pull the names that repeated for both genders to create this post.
I also went through hundreds of popular baby names from the Social Security Administration to make sure this list was as comprehensive as possible.

Your Turn
I thought it was so cool finding the gender neutral baby names from my original baby name post. Some I had heard before and others were completely new to me. I love that these names are unique and modern and work for either boy or girl!
And judging by how cute they are, I don’t think these names are going anywhere anytime soon.
