How to Introduce Your Toddler To Swimming This Summer

This post was sponsored by SwimWays as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Summer time means water time for our family! Whether it’s at the splash pad or running through the sprinklers or at the pool, my kids love to get wet! This year I’ve made a goal to go to the pool with my kids more than I have in the past so I can introduce my toddler to swimming.

My son is four and he took swimming lessons when he was 18 months. He’s pretty confident in the water and is comfortable wearing a life jacket. However, my daughter has never had swimming lessons so I’m trying to get her more familiar with the water so she’ll take to swimming when she starts lessons. That’s where the SwimWays Baby Spring Float Sun Canopy comes in!

I love how convenient is it to take to the pool! The carry bag is so handy and I love that it folds flat to fit in my pool bag if I need to have an extra arm. My kids take a lot of stuff swimming haha!

It’s super easy to set up too. Once you remove it from the carry bag, you just inflate the two rings and clip in the canopy with 50+ UPF sun protection and your baby is ready to float! The Spring Float is super comfortable for kids and is incredibly stable in the water. It’s the best to introduce your toddler to swimming! My daughter hates laying down in the water for baths so I know she would hate laying on her back in the pool. The Baby Spring Float keeps baby upright at all times so they can enjoy splashing and playing with siblings!

SwimWays is an industry leader in helping children learn to swim and promoting water safety and I’m so glad they make a product like the Baby Spring Float for moms like me! I can take both of my kids to the swimming pool alone and know that they’ll both be safe while we’re there!

This is our second time using the Swimways Baby Spring Float Sun Canopy and I can already tell that my daughter is getting more and more used to the water with each use. I so wish I would have had the float with my son! Taking him to swimming lessons the first time was quite a shock for both of us! I know my Ella will be more comfortable in the water after spending time in the Baby Spring Float this summer.

The Spring Float Sun Canopy also is super convenient to take on family vacations when you’ll be using the hotel swimming pool!

Happy safe swimming!
