Since we just celebrated Memorial Day, summer has officially arrived! I can’t wait for this summer with my two kiddos and all of the fun activities we’ll get to do. I definitely want to get outdoors and go hiking, camping, and just explore! Ella loves to roam free, but she also wants me to carry her when she gets tired. Today, I’ve teamed up with Ergobaby to share how easy it is to include your baby and toddler in your outdoor activities so everyone gets to have fun!
A few weeks ago, I got to attend an Ergobaby Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh event at Bridal Veil Falls! It was such a great time and the Ergobaby team made all of the moms feel so comfortable.
One of my favorite parts was getting fitted with my carrier by the Ergobaby team! I always thought I knew how to put the carrier on, but they gave me some great pointers that I had never considered. One of the best tips they gave was to turn baby toward you if they showed any sign of distress. Ella did not want to face out in the Ergobaby Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh Carrier, so the team member suggested I turn her to face me. She instantly calmed down and relaxed in the carrier. It was amazing!
I also loved how they catered to our little ones at the event with the decor and snacks! Ella loved munching on the homemade trail mix and even let me sneak a few bites! I’ve been an Ergobaby fan since I had my first baby four years ago, so I was super excited for this event! Seeing other babies at the event brought back so many memories of wearing my kiddos when they 0-1 in our Ergobaby. It’s so nice to have a carrier that can grow with our babies from the 0-1 year age range all the way up to 18 months and older, like Ella’s age now.

I love the 3D air mesh panel! I would always take my babies out of the carrier after wearing them for a while and they would be so sweaty after being close to me. The Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh has a breathable panel that keeps baby cool and comfortable especially in the summer months. And there’s no need for an infant insert with this carrier. All of the babies 0-1 at the event could be in the carrier the same way as the toddlers because of the awesome Velcro tabs and sliders!
I also love the all carry position feature! My original Ergobaby doesn’t have the option to have baby front facing out, but the Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh does! It’s super easy to switch their position from front facing out to facing you and you can even do it while the carrier is still attached to you! Plus you still get the other positions like hip and back carry to utilize the carrier all the way through toddlerhood. And believe me, we do!
I couldn’t believe how comfortable the Ergobaby Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh was! I’ve worn my babies for several hours at a time before, and I’m usually a little sore after. But I wore Ella for that long at the event and I never felt uncomfortable or weighed down thanks to the lumbar support and padded crossable straps. It didn’t even feel like I was carrying her at all at times!
The overall feeling from the event was how easy it is to enjoy the outdoors with baby in tow! There’s no excuse for not experiencing a summer full of fun outdoor activities just because you have a little one. Ergobaby makes it so easy!
