Inside: Make this super simple heart shaped wreath in under an hour! It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day or Spring.
I made a pretty cute Valentine’s Day wreath a few years ago, but the problem is it’s fairly small.
I hung it on our door this year and it just looked so funny to have such a small wreath in such a large space. Not to mention the fact that it’s super windy where we live and it’s ended up on the ground more than once.
So back to the drawing board I went.
Then I saw this adorable heart shaped wreath a few weeks ago on Pinterest and fell in love! I had it in my cart ready to purchase and I thought, “I could probably make that; and with colors that are more my style.”
So I did!
I love how it turned out and I hope you do too.

Materials
Heart wreath frame
Floral wire
Faux flowers
Garland (Lamb’s Ear or Eucalyptus)
Wire cutters
Hot glue gun
The total for all of the supplies was $30, which was more than I wanted to spend on the project. But the garland goes on sale for $9.99 sometimes, so that would definitely make this project more affordable.
How To Make The Wreath
1. Attach the garland to the wreath frame with the floral wire.
2. Fill in any bare spots on the left side only with sections of the garland.
You can use hot glue or the floral wire. You only need to fill in the left side because you’ll be covering the right side with flowers.
3. Arrange the flowers how you want them on the right side.
4. Hot glue the flowers into place.

How do you hang a heart shaped wreath?
One of the trickiest parts of this project was figuring out how I wanted to hang the heart shaped wreath.
I ended up creating a loop of floral wire around my fingers and then securing that to the wire frame with more floral wire. It’s stayed secure so far!
